It's important when cleaning leather to use a softer, gentler soap which doesn't have the harsher chemicals which can try leather and cause cracking. It's best to use a non-scratch cloth like a jewellers cloth or a microfibre and dab at the Leather Band using a damp cloth. The strap should never get fully wet (and neither should your cloth) to avoid causing Water Damage to the strap..
